Ork Warboss with Attack Squig. WIP1

Очень соскучилась по оркам, и вот представился случай покрасить очередного красавца. Процесс буду публиковать частями, по мере работы. Эта первая часть посвящена, как обычно,  подготовительной работе.
I missed for my lovely orks, and now I have a chance to paint one. The work in process will be posted in parts, and the first is about preparation, as usual.

So now I have some works to share and alive my page. And at first it will be two spacemarines  tutorials for two level of painting - the easy way and more difficult way. May be it will be useful for somebody. I'll start with the simple one soon, just need a little bit time for translation, so stay turned!

Bananalicious2 - my results!

http://massivevoodoo.blogspot.ru/2015/07/bananalicious-2-winners.html

If you're in this hobby, you know Massive Voodoo, of course, the incredible monkey gang from Germany. Since my first days in hobby they influenced on my painting - with their blog with tons of wonderful articles about all in the hobby - theory and practice, with their stunning works, which always were as an example for me for super quality painting and crazy-idea-base-building.
I was lucky to meet some members of MV team in my life and spent several days with them. Now I'm talking about Roman and Raffa, who are, to my mind, an engine of all team. I'll always keep in my heart those two days of private coaching with you, your hospitality and alacrity to share with all your knowledge with us.
And now I want to thank you again for Bananalicious2. You've done the biggest on-line contest in our hobby-world and did it twice)! Thank you for all that time, spending with mails, pictures and discussions, I can't even imagine how hard it was. And it's a honor to me to participate in such event and especially win some prizes, because the competition was really brutal!

Also I want thanks Toni, the owner of army which won silver on this contest. We're working about two years together for creating Space Eldar army (and doing it now - with new units). I am grateful for all your ideas in painting and conversions, and for this commission at all. It's a big work in my painting life.

And, of course, I want to thanks Peter, the owner of Harlequin Wraithlord. His wonderful and sad  story about eldar twins inspires me for the greatest work in this year. It was so interesting to solve that task and embody Peter's history on the real model, to show all that he wrote about. And I'm so happy that Wraithlord won "The best of show"! It means that I've done all right and other people can see the history in the model.

So my result in Bananalicious is:
Army Painting - silver
Fantasy Master - gold
Best of show
Best of Master categories
I'm very proud of it, because much time has passed since the last international contest where I took a part. And this small win lights my heart and inspires for new interesting projects!

Pehua, Amason leader

Many years this miniature was in my "miniatures for painting" box. And suddenly some weeks ago I so wanted to paint something different than eldars and ogres. So I've  looked at her and ... painted her!

Ainariël, Elf Hunter

This project started about 1 year ago with me and Marina (Ringil). We decided to paint two girls by Andrea and made a step-by-step tutorial about it. We wanted to show different techniques on similiar miniatures.
Two parts of tutorial were written and then we stuck because of lack of time and so on. I can only say that this third (final) stage was the most difficult to me. I couldn't choose a color for cloak and other details. I repainted the cloak three times!! and this was very tediously. First I did it in green,  then - in orange, but finally I stopped on leather variant, which give a covert and calm atmosphere to hunter.
You can read two parts of our tutorial here:

Ainariël, Elf Hunter, and Arlith, Silent Shadow. Part 1. (skin and face)

Ainariël, Elf Hunter, and Arlith, Silent Shadow. Part 2. (leather)

And  now my finished Ainariël:

Dead end

Today I want to show you my so-long-time-builded diorama "Dead end".
I started it in 2012 and you can see some history and WIPs here. It was hard to look at it standing on my working shelves so long time so I've  decided to finish it. It was not serious but funny work and I like the result.

I want to summarize all units in one army - and I have a common picture of it!

Space Eldar Army: Spiritseer - Version 2

I painted the first Spiritseer (Version1)  for this army in the last year. But now the army's owner asked me to paint one more with optional heads. So Spiritseer can change his appearance now ).
I did some conversion to make him a little different from the first one.

Space Eldar Army: Support weapon

It was long time ago since my last post here. But I/ve painted some works during this time. Now I'll кен to fix this situation and share with them.
Today it will be Eldars. The Space theme continues ). And now it's support weapon in red color: three platforms with crue and full weapon options.

Cicero. Eldar wraithknight.

"Many millennia before the 41st millennium, a Harlequin Shadowseer had a twin, a fellow Harlequin, who was slain by a daemon of slaanesh. Grief stricken, and not wanting to part with her twin, the shadowseer defies the law of the craftworlds and in secret places her spiritstone inside a wraithknight, planning to pilot the wraithknight herself, and forever be connected with her twin. When the rulers of the craftworld realize what she has done, they banish her, and the wraithknight from society forever, to walk the webways alone. And so she does, taking the name "Cicero," wanders the darkness of webway alone, connected to her sister always, some times appearing to help the eldar."
Peter Almo

So I had a wonderful task for painting to сonvey the atmosphere of loneliness, sadness and abandonment. I believe that coped with it ).

Salamanders "Golden scales": Land Speeders

I continue the "Golden scales" army in this year. And now it's turn for 2 land speeders. As usual: the same color scheme, lots of optional weapon.
